When I asked him to pose for this picture, his wife Wilma asked me if I wanted a shot of him with his mask on or off. Destroyer said, "Of course I have to put the mask on. Without it I look like any other old fart! How the hell is anybody going to know who's in the picture?" Dick Beyer is a very funny man, indeed.
